Last Saturday was the first time I have gone to the Chocolate and Cheese Festival in Salt Lake City. It was held at the Natural History Museum of Utah. I arrived only to find that the line was quite long, as well as the wait to get inside.
Fortunately, I was attending a workshop, so I bypassed the line and was able to get in. The workshop I attended was “Working with Chocolate”, taught my my idol, Ruth Kendrick! She is the author of my chocolate bible- “Candymaking”, as well as one of the founders of “Chocolot”. Her business has evolved to more of a European kind of chocolate. Be still, my tastebuds!
My daughter then joined me, and together we made the rounds; sampling cheeses and chocolates. We may have bought a little to take home…
